SCOPE OF WORKS
Touch Interiors will handle all aspects of the fit-out:

-Property appraisal to assess the extent of work required.
-Selection and ordering of the most appropriate homewares and furnishings.
-Assembly and installation of all furniture and equipment.
-Acquisition of discounts up to 50% off normal recommended retail prices.
-Supervision of all deliveries and tradesmen.
-Rubbish recycling and removal.
-Handling of all invoices and payments.
-Notification of removals and works to the body corporate or caretaker.
-Preparation of a detailed inventory and warranties package.
-Final presentation to the client issuing an itemised receipt for tax and insurance.

TIME-FRAMES
Touch Interiors is aware that every vacant day costs our client valuable rental income.
Therefore we ensure the job is done within a minimum time frame.
On average Touch Interiors will require 2.5-3 weeks to complete a job.

BUDGET & FEES
The total job cost will be divided into two budgets:
Furnishings Budget: Total cost of all goods and trades required.
Service Budget: Fixed service fee agreed to at the beginning of the job.

Touch Interiors requires 50% of the total furnishings budget prior to the commencement of the project.
The final 50% of the furnishings budget must be received prior to the advised installation date of the goods.
The full Service Fee is due once the job has been completed and the client has viewed the property. If further savings have been acquired on the client’s behalf, the saved amount will be deducted from the service fee upon completion of the job.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • The requirements agreed to at the commencement of the project are the basis for all activity. If the requirements change to any great degree then there will need to be further negotiation of the agreed time frames and there may be additional costs incurred.
  • The client agrees to allow Touch Interiors flexibility in the selection of all materials and furnishings, drawing upon design skill & product knowledge to acquire goods within the specified budget. 
  • All payments will be made as advised in this contract. Any additional work beyond the project specification will be negotiated separately to this agreement.
  • It is advised that owners seek insurance for the property and it’s furnishings before the advised installation date. It is agreed that the goods are the owner’s property from this date on.
  • A key will be available for access to the unit and a car park (if possible) on an as need basis during working hours seven days a week for the duration of the project.
  • The quotation is subject to the acceptance of the documented requirements and agreed budget feasibility, which will be developed and finalised upon the completion of the project.
